New England Generals add Coach Nick Marra

by Bryan Erikson

The New England Generals are proud to add Nick Marra to our staff of the Split Season U16/U18 program. Nick is currently an ISS Hockey Scout for the U16 age group in New England area and has extensive knowledge of the various players in the region, in both High School and Prep levels.

Nick was a four-year varsity goaltender for Barrington (RI) High School. He immediately started coaching for his Alma mater as the Head Coach of the Barrington HS summer team (Winning Premier League championships in 2013 and 2015) while he attended the University of Rhode Island earning a BA in Business Studies. Nick has been with the Barrington HS staff as an Assistant Coach since the 2015-16 season. With his help, the Eagles were able to win back-to-back Division II State Championships for the first time in the school’s history.

In addition to his experiences coaching, Nick is an Amateur Scout for the New England region of ISS Hockey, where his responsibilities include scouting and reporting on amateur players to assist a variety of teams and leagues including the QMJHL and NCAA.

We look forward to Nick's contributions to the New England Generals organization.
